Kabkab cultivar is one of the most important and abundant cultivars in the Khesht and Kamarj region, in Kazerun and Dashtestan (Borazjan) in Iran. Kabkab is very sweet and is smaller and juicy enough to attract people. this dates are usually recommended to be cooked before consumption. The color of the fruit in the stage of Khark and Ratb is yellow, and in the case of full ripening, it turns dark brown. The oval fruit weighs about 15 grams with a semi-dry texture and light yellow color. Kabkab dates are fully ripe in late August but are harvested in mid-September.

can be considered as one of the most delicious and pleasant types of dates in the world. These dates, which have attractive black color, have a moisture content of 15% to 35%, depending on the time of harvest, the place where it is planted, and the size of its seeds that is usually between 2.5 and 4.5 cm in Iran after colonization. Mazafati’s main homeland in Iran is Bam, Kerman. Mazafati Bam is one of the best types of dates in Iran in terms of the domestic market. Mazafati is one of the most excellent dates with dark red to a black color and fine quality. In recent years, special attention has been paid to its export.

Rabbee is one of the most important cultivars in Sistan and Baluchestan province. In terms of importance, it is located after Saamran, Shahani, Mazafati, and Kabkab. The fruit is large, red in color, and delicious.

The fruit turns yellow in the Khark stage, light brown in the Rotab stage, and red in the Tamar stage (reddish to yellowish-brown). Zahedi Yazdadi in Arabic means abundant and cheap. The shape of the fruit is an elongated oval, and its end is very narrow and sharp. It is one of the very high cultivars that have good storage and transportation properties. It is one of the export cultivars. The ratio of Zahedi meat to the kernel is 6.35. Zahedi is harvested in late September. The adhesion of the cap to the fruit is moderate. This variety of dates is more or less planted in almost all date-growing provinces.
